When we write or rewrite your business plan we have five goals.
The first goal is to create a blueprint for your company and its future. We don't just churn out a busine
ss plan and hand it over to you. We work with you to create your business plan incorporating your vision and goals. While writing the business plan, we also act as mentors and consultants to help you get the best start and to create a true blueprint for your company and not just a business plan to obtain funding. There is no extra charge for these services because we think they are essential to the business plan and to a company's success. This available total involvement with the business plan is what sets us apart from most of our competitors. We truly believe that we are only successful when you are successful.
Honesty is the best policy. Every business has weaknesses and potential problems. The savvy investor or funding source can usually spot those in the first few minutes. Ignoring them will not make them go away and can harm your chances for funding. The investor wants to see that you have realistically thought through your business, how you plan to succeed, and you have honestly assessed the risks and how you will address them. Your financials must also demonstrate honest and well planned figures. Unsubstantiated financials and unrealistic expectations have doomed many plans. While we do not prepare the financial pages, we can look them over, if you wish, and give our considered opinion as to their completeness, rationale and integrity.

Branding. Every business needs to create an image or brand for itself that becomes synonymous with its products or services. Creating a uniqueness for your company is part of any complete business plan. Without that uniqueness you are just another kid on the block.
For example, about 18 years ago, a small company that did janitorial work for commercial buildings needed a business plan. They seemed unable to get much work since there was so much competition plus they were disorganized and unfocused. They offered nothing different or special that set them apart. At the time, the green movement was in its infancy but one problem that was beginning to be noticed in commercial buildings was the air quality since most windows were sealed. Utilizing the prevalence of that problem, a uniqueness was created for the company by utilizing only non-toxic and green cleaners. Even though those products were more expensive even wholesale, building or corporate owners were willing to pay more to know that they were not adding to indoor pollution or causing additional risk to the health of their employees or tenants. The janitorial company grew very quickly and successfully because a niche market and branding were developed for it.
Whether it is finding a niche market or doing something special that your competitors don’t, helping you develop your brand is an essential part of a good business plan.
